After being away from the spotlight since 2018, the UCU Knights Reborn (UKRe) finally made their long-awaited return in 2025. After seven years of absence, the team proudly marked their comeback at the 14th LCUAA National Games, opening a new chapter of determination and excellence.
The Knights Reborn proudly carried the university’s flag, proving that true champions are not defined by how long they have been away, but by how strong they rise when they return.
Behind this remarkable comeback are the athletes, coaches, staff, and officials who dedicated their time, energy, and perseverance to prepare for the competition.
We extend special recognition to our university officials—Dr. Hilarion Olimpo, Dr. Jerry Dichoso, Dr. Eleuterio Sison, Dr. Ryan Jayson Delos Reyes, Engr. Dennis Pascua, and Prof. Leonard Caluag—who closely monitored our athletes’ well-being and safety, and to all coaches for their unwavering guidance and tireless mentorship.
Complementing these efforts, we likewise acknowledge the steadfast support of the UCU administration, led by Dr. Amihan April C. Mella-Alcazar and Atty. Dar A. Diga.
The Knights once said, “We shall return.” And this year, they did—stronger, prouder, and reborn.
Thank you and congratulations, UKRe!
